4 Unit Play. #526 Take Texas A & M over Texas (9 pm ESPN) Texas is still really young and they have a lot of flaws and should not be laying points on the road to anybody in the Big XII. The Horns are just 4-6 during conference play and they will face the Aggies, who have been a covering machine of late. A & M has covered 5 straight Big XII games. Texas is just 6-14 ATS (1 push) in their last 21 games overall. Khris Middleton recorded a double- double in the first meeting between these two teams and expect him to come up big again on Monday. 4 Unit Play. #524 Take Oklahoma over Missouri (7 pm ESPN U) This is a case of a classic spot for a letdown, as the Tigers are coming off a big performance on Saturday night against Kansas. The crowd stormed the court, but the fact is that Missouri did not play well in that game and needed the help of the officials to give them a victory. Missouri now must go on the road to face a well-coached team in Oklahoma. The line being this low should tell you something as well, since Oklahoma is just 13-9 on the season, but they are 9-3 at home. Missouri is just 18-40 ATS (1 push) in their last 59 road games. Oklahoma is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Monday games.

4 Unit Play. #522 Take Louisville over Connecticut (7 pm ESPN) The Huskies got back on track with a victory over Seton Hall this last weekend, but that is a little deceiving since the Pirates were without their best player in Herb Pope. The fact is that this team is still offensively challenged and they are racing a red hot Louisville team that has won 4 Big East games in a row. Louisville won 2 of the 3 meetings with Connecticut last season and that included a victory in Hartford. The Cardinals are starting to get healthy and expect them to cruise to a victory tonight at the YUM Center. UCONN is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games. Louisville is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Monday games.

3-unit Play Take Detroit Red Wings/Phoenix Coyotes OVER (8:05pm EST) The Detroit Red Wings and Phoenix Coyotes hook up in a game that promises to see aggressive play. Detroit is coming off a 5-4 loss in Edmonton on Saturday in a contest that saw 71 shots on goal. This is the last game of a 4-game road trip for the Wings and their defense has looked worse and worse as the trip has progressed. The All-Star break has definitely thrown them off their rhythm and to make matters even worse, the Wings have lost their star goalie Jimmy Howard to an injury for a few weeks. As a result, they'll have Ty Conklin in the net, which is a significant downgrade as he's one of the weakest backups in the NHL. The Coyotes were also involved in a thriller in their last game as they won 5-3 versus San Jose. The Over is 7-3-3- in the last 16 games that Phoenix has played on one day of rest. They should come out aggressive knowing that they have a weak opponent in the net. Finally, the Over is 6-2 in the last eight meetings between these squads.
